Kiwanis Park includes an all-inclusive playground, 3 season restroom facility, shelter houses with picnic tables, basketball court, drinking fountain, rentable community garden plots and hard surface parking lot with an entrance off of Main Street. There are also two tennis courts and six pickleball courts. This 4.12-acre park is located 1/2 block south of Maple Street off Orchard Street.
The shelter house near Orchard Street can be rented for $25. The shelter house within the Wonder Spelen area is not rentable.
Wonder Spelen or "Miracle Play" is the non-profit organization that is dedicated to building a FUN, SAFE, STATE OF THE ART playground to be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. This park helps people play together and ensures that no one is left out. Wonder Spelen, Pella Kiwanis Club and the City of Pella joined forces to construct the all-inclusive playground, parking lot and restroom building in 2021.
