Mission Statement

The mission of the Public Works Department is to maintain, preserve, document, and protect the infrastructure of the city in the most efficient and effective manner possible, while providing proactive, quality, professional, timely services to residents, businesses, and visitors.

Divisions

From the flow of water to the flow of traffic, the City of Pella Public Works Department is responsible for providing a variety of services and managing important infrastructure in the community. The Public Works Department is comprised of several divisions including:

• Administration
• Airport (PEA)
• Streets / Stormwater
• Wastewater
• Water
