We do not allow little inner-tubes, little boats for tots to ride in, or any other devices. Everything artificial must be made to be worn on the body. Understand that only a properly fitted Coast Guard-approved life jacket will actually save a child’s life. We reserve the right to allow patrons with disabilities to use special equipment.

Staffing
Pella Aquatics reserves the right to close some of our features if staffing needs cannot be met. Please ask at the admission desk to determine the availability of features, as we do not offer refunds if the features you want to use are closed. This can be especially true at the beginning of the season, when school is still in session, and at the end of the summer, when school and athletics start.

The Pella Dolphins swim team is a recreation swim team sponsored by the City of Pella Recreation Commission.  Our mission as a team is to develop swimmers in and out of the water. Our main focus is to coach swimmers to be proficient in every stroke, turn and start. While out of the water we expect our swimmers to treat others with respect and they themselves are responsible for their own actions. We coach the swimmers to know the differences between hard training and drill work on competing.  We are a competitive team that strives to do our best at all times.
