Take the course now and apply for your summer lifeguarding position early! You must be at least 15 years old by the end of the class. Prerequisites include swimming 100 yards, treading water for 2 minutes without the use of your hands, and retrieving a 10 lb brick from the deepest part of the pool.

Adults (18 and up) are you bored and looking for something to get you off the couch? Gather your friends and sign up a team for a SNOW Kickball Tournament to be held on Saturday, February 25 starting at 9:00 am. Teams must consist of 9-12 players with at least 3 females. Cost to register a team is $50. Prizes from Pizza Ranch & Smokey Row will be awarded. Stop by the Community Services Office, 712 Union St., to fill out a registration form or download one from our web site. The tournament is limited to the first 12 teams. Deadline to register is February 17. Any questions call Brenda at 628-4571.

If you have a creative urge you need to fill, or want to do something interesting with the kids, you can take advantage of the Art Center’s Open Studio program for adults and families. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration needed. Use north door of Community Center. Program Dates: Every Tuesday night 7:00 to 9:00 pm (closed during community school holidays & snow days) Registration Fees: $2.00 for students/per time $3.00 for adults/per time
