Library events for adults in August

August 2 at 10:30- 11:30 a.m.: Coloring for Adults: Celebrate National Coloring Book Day with some stress-free coloring. Free coloring books for adults while they last. Coloring pages and supplies will be provided, or you can bring your own. This will take place in the Library Meeting Room.

August 12 at 7:00 p.m.: Conversations in Spanish: Native and non-native Spanish speakers are invited to gather for casual conversation in Spanish.

August 15 at 10:15 a.m.: Genealogy Club will meet in the Library Meeting Room.

August 19 at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m.: Free Photo Digitizing. If you have old photos and documents stored in boxes, bring them to the library to be digitized and preserved for future generations. Registration is required.

August 21 at 11:00 a.m.: Conversations in Spanish: Native and non-native Spanish speakers are invited to gather for casual conversation in Spanish.

August 22 at noon: The Brown Bag Book Club will discuss This Blessed Earth by Ted Genoways.

Geri-Fit Classes
Geri-Fit® video fitness classes will be held at the library starting in August. The classes are intended for ages 65 or over who are not currently doing any kind of strength training exercises. Classes will begin on Aug. 6. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. in the Library Meeting Room. Limited space is available and registration is required.
